Nov. 2 - The women's basketball team will be working with Dayton's Crayons to Classrooms to collect school supply donations. Please read more about our effort here.
October 17th - For the seventh consecutive year, the team participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 17th. 6,500 walkers participated in the event raising $375,000. The team had 24 walkers including players, coaches, family, and friends. The team raised $1,180 in donations going directly to the American Cancer Society. Visit the team page here.

Make A Difference
The team participated in the 2009 WBCA's Pink Zone Saturday, February 14th. The initiative is a global, unified effort for the WBCA's nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. All proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund. Coach Yow passed away on January 24th, 2009.
The team participated in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 18th and collected $508 in donations. More than 6,000 walkers participated and the event raised over $330,000 for research, education, advocacy, and patient services. The team has walked in the event the past 6 years.
The team participated in the 23rd Annual Ghost N Goblins Run on October 28th. This was the 2nd year the team has participated in the event. It benefits The Children's Medical Center of Dayton.
